Set in a quiet backwater. This cottage dates back to the early 17th century. However we have tried to retain many original features throughout. Making the most of Whitby it's superb location is an ideal setting for the town centre and all the facilities yet you could laze away the days in the garden and think you were in the country as its set in a quiet area with enclosed walled garden.

3 mins walk to short stay car park - pay and display.
5 mins walk to harbour side and pier.
4 mins walk to supermarket and shops.
6 mins walk to west cliff which leads to the beach.

If required, we can rent a private parking bay for your car next to the cottage.

 

Description:

Paddock Cottage sleeps up to 5 persons.

The cottage has a cosy lounge area with 32" flat screen Freesat TV and DVD player, fully fitted kitchen (washing machine, microwave, fridge-freezer, pine table and seating), gas central heating and double glazing.

The cottage accommodation has 3 floors

  • Ground floor: Entrance direct into the lounge with five steps leading up from lounge to kitchen, off this is the bathroom with WC and shower.
  • 1st floor: Stairs lead up to a double bedroom sleeps 2 with en-suite w.c and washbasin, TV/DVD Combi (please note these stairs are a little steep).
  • 2nd floor: Stairs lead up to a single bedroom (sleeps 1) which you have to walk through to get to the double bedroom (sleeps 2 and has a portable TV).


The cottage has a South-facing fully enclosed garden which features a patio area with tables, chairs and a bench on one side and a lawned area on the other side. There is a high standard of furnishings throughout and the property has open-beamed ceilings, wooden floors and fitted carpets in bedrooms.

The cottage is no smoking but you may smoke outside in the patio area.

Services:

Full gas central heating is provided free of charge and the cottage is double-glazed.
Gas and Electricity are included in the price.
All linen is provided but NO towels are provided, please bring your own towels.
The cottage is pet-friendly and pets can be brought free of charge.
For pets, there is a treasure chest in the lounge. The chest contains toys, leads, dog throws, bags, bowls and even some dog treats for when you arrive.

Free unlimited wi-fi.

Prices & Availability:

Prices range from £250 in Low Season to £775 in High Season (the week runs from Saturday to Saturday).
